My Name is Nicolai Elghanayan and I am an American Driver in Pirelli World Challenge. I pilot the #71 MarcoPolo Motorsports KTM GT4 engineered by Reiter Engineering. I grew up in Laguna Beach, CA racing Karts. I did not get into racing until my first year at college where I competed in a regional cup series, Lotus Cup USA. I drove #555 Lotus Exige S Cup car and won the 2016-17 Championships. I decided that I wanted to get more competition. During my last year at USC where I received my Bachelor Degree in Architecture, I participated in my first Pirelli World Challenge event at Laguna Seca. I drove a Lotus Exige in the TC (Touring Car) class and had a great time competing with everyone. After that I began racing in the KTM GT4s starting at Circuit of the Americas for my first professional race in a GT4 car. We ran half the 2018 season and ended up with four podiums and 1 overall win at Lime Rock Park. I plan on racing full time in 2019 with Pirelli World Challenge as well as participating in a few GT4 events in Europe as well with KTM and Reiter Engineering.
SRO Motorsports America driver Nicolai Elghanayan may be at the beginning stages of his professional racing career, but the 24-year-old is already using his platform for positive causes.
